I have problems generating a map code. I can read FSC code from my 2012 F30 328i using SWID_reader.exe. Dump from the program: Starting...F-serie... Ediabas version: 7.3.0 Ignition: = OKAY ------------------------------------ Trying... Reading CAS... CAS: VIN - F232655 Setting addresse: = OKAY Reading CIC... CIC: VIN - F232655 ------------------------------------ 0101001B000120203737333438370120323837333836330065 01463233323635350100000000000000000004023230313230 313233313935305A00810C804A Total bytes: 63 ------------------------------------ Creating file F232655_001B0001.fsc Writing file...Ok! ------------------------------------ Content of F232655_001B0001.fsc between quotes: “AQEAGwABICA3NzM0ODcBIDI4NzM4NjMAZQFGMjMyNjU1AQAAA AAAAAAAAAQCMjAxMjAxMjMxOTUwWgCBDIBK”. Frogman, who have same car as me, writes here that Binary FSC's are always 319 bytes long – mine is only 63 bytes. I guess that this could be the problem? If I convert the saved file, F232655_001B0001.fsc, to binary I get exactly the same data as shown in SWID_reader.exe (I use a hex editor to see the file - see below). When I feed the binary file to fsc.exe I get only this: C:\EC-APPS>fsc a.hex 0x28 0x0B version after create() = 0xD1. I have found some examples of a binary fsc code in this thread and I was able to generate a code. But the examples were also 319 bytes long! Can somebody tell what I’m doing wrong? |

I currently have an issue.. I managed to get the FSC files from someone I know at BMW for a friends car. He has a F20 with CIC.
So with the files it became easy to get a map code. I created 3, one for 2016-1 Premium europe map, one for 2015 premium europe map and I finished with a lifetime premium europe map. The problem we have is that none of the code are accepted in the car (tested on both 2015 and 2016 map...) Any idea guys how to handle that ? |
