2017 Navigation Map Updates (Updated)

Hi Shawn,

New to BMW - just picked up a 2014 435i. Checked the map data and showed the following:

Road Map NORTH AMERICA Next
2013-2
NBT_L15184A

Think you could help me out? Don't know where to start with getting updates or a FSC code.

Where can I get 2018-2 Europe next, just need a place from where to download as I can do the fsc bit, hopefully 😀

I've just downloaded 2018-2 EUROPE Next via a torrent and have a zipped folder with the contents in the image below. I understand I need a FAT32 formatted USB and I need to drop the files to the root. However ive heard of some updates been split up and when I went into the folder structures I seen there are folders named 1-5.

Is this update one big one or does it need to be split up? Any help appreciated, I generated a FSC code yesterday so hopefully ill be good to go.

Unzip and save those 1-5 folders and additional files to the root of the drive.

@CARR601 extract and place the file and folders as they are in the root of the usb as mentioned above.

When you then plug the usb into the car it will hopefully recognise the update and prompt to perform the update at which point it will want the code.

I’ve just done the above and my map update is in progress, just need to take the car on a long drive to allow the update to complete.

I own an F30 320D Efficient Dynamics built in 2012. My navi version shows me this:

Road Map Europe MOVE 2013

I would like to update the maps, but I don't have an USB port in the glovebox, just under the arm-rest. I think my system in CIC. Is it possible?

Any help would be much appreciated.
