Stock Supra traps 108-110 mph in the 1/4 mile, my 340i MPPSK traps the same on 88 octane.
Decatted Boot Mod3 Stage 2 440i should trap close to 120 mph. It shouldn't even be close. |

They trap around 110-112mph on 91, 112-114mph on 93, and 115-117mph on E30. a stock supra traps about 112-113mph in the 1/4 mile, so I can see why it kept up with the 440i, it's also lighter than the 440i.

I trapped 118-119 on E30 Stage 2 in average conditions. I’d guess the slightly heavier 440 on 93 would be a couple mph slower.

It's was the same thing with the M235i and 335i/435i. If the guy in the video had a M240i instead of the 440i, he would have probably put a good 2 cars lengths or more.

Here's a stock Supra trapping 108 mph vs a tuned Supra.
Also the weight difference is only 150 lbs vs 440i. |

Regardless, reach out to any of the tuners at PTF, MHD, Mission etc and they'll all tell you they share the same DME and end results are the same.

I've seen it happen and I know the m240i is faster than the 4 door counterparts tuned, same mods and fuel. I can't explain why, I'm going to assume the transmission has no tq limiter compared to the 340/440i or something but the m235i/m240i has always made more power and ran faster 1/4 mile times than their counterparts. Its kind of like the M135i and m140i.

Realistically you'd want the temps to be in the 20s and DA between 1000-2000 to simulate real drag strip conditions.
Colder temps and negative DA is basically cheating

I have another one with 18deg C, about DA : not every drag strip is high above sea level.

For example, the nearest drag strip is about 2 hours from me and has a DA of between 1300-1800. Where I live, the DA is between 600-1600 depending on temperature and humidity, and about 0 to -1000 in the autumn/winter, I run about 0.2-0.3 seconds faster and trap 2mph higher in the negative DA then I do in the summer. Of course I only have 91 octane available to me.

I see you’re running PS2 F30 xdrive, what’s your 100-200 time?
