COVID/WFH causing you not to wash you ride? Am I alone?

I haven't washed my car in months. It's disgustingly dirty.
Since March I've been working from home so have probably put 1-2K miles on it all year. I got sick of it being dirty back in July and brought it to a car wash (gasps!! I know right!? What was I thinking?!)

Just got back from visiting some family (low key small thanksgiving but haven't seen them in many months and I've been at home so I definitely don't have covid)

Any way just seeing who's in the same boat as me? I bought some cleaning supplies on amazon... maybe I'll take my ass outside and clean her properly... yawn...

Being at home should give you the time to bathe her. Though I can see being home all day can make you lazy lol
Waterless wash spray would help too

Been washing my car every weekend because I modded her and am going out to take pics since i picked up photography as a hobby. It’s a shame now not to see her clean because she looks good with the drop and wheels.

haven't been driving as much so hasn't been getting as dirty, but with ceramic coating so easy to just spray it down every couple weeks and blow dry

Using the pandemic as an excuse to not wash your car literally makes no sense at all.

Your car looks gorgeous! I'm not typically a fan of yellow fog tint/film but looks great on your car.

Quite the contrary to be honest. WFH allows me to run some errands during the week. Therefore I've got the time during the weekend for some TLC

Thanks! It’s typically the first thing i do. Either film or swap out the bulbs to yellow.

i use it as an excuse to take a break from the home office when it's nice out. i can understand what he means though. days go by that i dont even leave my house and the car just sits in the garage. If you are using it more frequently you walk up to more often and say to yourself "i need to wash this thing"

Hey man... just don't abandon little distractions and things that you like to do. Not that wash a car is a distraction, but maybe a way to put your head out of this pandemic shit.
If you don't take care of your things and you, and don't look for distractions, you may turn in to a field for depression... If you are from Florida, even more reason to get out and to keep up with your nice car.
Take care.

No way. Driving fast in a (mostly) clean car and taking pics is the only thing keeping me sane. I put 10k miles on two bimmers, in six months and have easily washed the car 20 times.

New mod? Wash it.
Warm day with no rain for a bit? Wash it.
Wife got her handprints on the hood? Wash it.

And take pics lol

Agree.. specially for us living in Northwest... enjoy warm weather as much as we can, because now we need to deal with cold and snow.
