So jealous😂 still haven't got my car to fit them. We're yours resealed like the other guys? If not how's the start animation?

Also did yours have these plastic plates on the inner lights? One of mine has snapped but I can't see the purpose of it?

Out of curiosity.. the bit that I have circled, is it a mark on the light cover?

If so I have the exact same thing in the exact same place, I only just noticed it but they're saying it's down to the tools used to break the sealant.

I hadn't even noticed. I'll check in the morning. Mine didn't look like they had been opened. The cap on the end is the rain guard. Glue it back on

Ps how are you getting on with the fangs?

Ahh good, I was getting a bit annoyed thinking not only had mine been resealed, but they were damaged too lol

Got a good batch back, just in middle of smoothening and strengthening, then I'm sending half of the batch of for painting very shortly. I'll drop you a pm to finalise the finish on them

Through amazon it says 2 years - I think this alone is worth the higher price.
Will place the order tomorrow. EDIT: order placed

Got mine fitted today finally, pretty simple to fit only thing is has anyone found that this side over for the inner light you can see in picture won't fit as the clip hits on the boot lid so can't see why it needs it so left off, and the inner light when fully clamped down seems to not be completely flush on the inside?

I finally received my Vland taillights yesterday. Took 3 weeks through amazon.
Was hoping a manual would be included, but it's just a diagram of the wiring.

This video makes it look very easy - anything else I need to be aware of?

EDIT: Went into this confident about the light install, but had to give up already removing all the boot trim in order to run the pre-lci cable. Any tips and how do you run it past the hinge ?

Mine is pre-lci and I thought there would be two adapters on the lights, but there is only one. Not sure if it's lci or facelift
Anyone able to spot what this is or is it a one size fits all plug?

Mine was pre lci, only came with one plug, then the little yellow and red wire that needs joining. Pretty simple to fit, one thing to note is that there I adjustment on the outer light and that's by the nuts where the bolts go so you can afjust and make sure both lights fit flush but you'll love them I never get bored of the animation

IDK about pre-LCI lights, but I recently purchased the latest version of the VLAND F32 CS Style lights - and coming from my current OEM LCI F32 Euro Blackline lights the VLAND Brake & Turn signal lights were only half as bright and barely visible in direct sunlight here in PA

Issue was increased due to the fact that on the VLAND F32 lights there are NO brake lights in the trunk lights due to lack of room = only brake in fender light

I installed new VLAND on only PS for comparison - had several friends take a look and tell me what they thought without telling them anything about my perceived dimness issue & they all agreed

The OEM LCI lights actually jump up & smack you right in the face with 'hey I'm turning' or 'hey I'm braking'

Plus the inner turn signal lens is smooth, while they used some kind of old school faceted lens for the fender light turn signal & together they look like A$$

Some other observations:
 • Fitment wasn't too bad, just had to fiddle a bit back n forth with the fender mount light adjusters to get them flush with trunk lights
 • Didn't need to run the xtra wires up to the inner tails or use the resistors as I had already done the OEM LCI retrofit with the OEM harness
 • Startup dance of the dragon scales was kinda cool and they were bright enough
 • Reverse lights were dimmer than OEM since they only used (2) led's instead of OEM (4)
 • Rear Fog lights were dimmer than OEM since again, they only used (2) led's instead of OEM (4)

I'm not gonna be responsible for a collision (esp. since VLAND is stamped on the outside of the lenses, so clearly they are aftermarket vs. OEM DOT Certified/Approved) so I returned them for a full refund

Just thought I would try them since some aftermarket parts aren't too bad - but these were a definite fail for me

There's a reason why the OEM CS lights cost $9K

First time I hear the lights are too dim - if it's to the point of being hazardous, surely they are not meeting the legal standards. Anyone else feel they are significantly dimmer than OEM? Making them bright like OEM lights shouldn't really be a $9K option

I think the OEM lights being $9k is due to the lighting technology used in addition to BMW tax plus special edition tax. The VLAND and all these replicas are just LEDs designed to mimic the OLED lighting. I'm sure they can make LED versions much brighter, but why they don't that is beyond me, probably costs more to put brighter LEDs in. This is all a conjecture as I have never seen the OEM CS style lights in person nor have I actually looked into the lighting tech used, I just know ppl call it OLED so.

As you can see from my photo in my experience the brake light, daytime running light and indicator are all just as bright, if not brighter than the stock pre lci

There are several other threads dealing with the newly released F82/F32 VLAND lights where several people have observed the same dim issue compared to OEM LCI lights

IDK anything about how the F82/F32 lights compare to pre LCI lights, nor do I know about the F80/F30 variety of the lights

Although the F80/F30 VLAND lights are already at V2
