How to pass NY state inspection with catless DP

lets try to get back on track to the op, I bought the vrsf dp fix for f30 n55, will be doing a diy to share and let everybody if this will also work for 02 readiness.

Pics and a diy would be awesome. I didn't know that the auto code clearing function was removed from the jb4 features. Bought a catless d/p and an intake and got cel's for both.

Well did.you try it yet? Been almost a month just wondering if that works.

Instead of these rig ups I’d go high flow cat to pass NYS inspection. We may have no choice.

It worked. The vrsf dp fix got me to only 1 incomplete system for readiness.
I passed inspection. You have to have your jb4 on map0 obviously and sirve the car for 50 miles at least.

Not entirely sure on that. I was on jb4 only. Map0 and drove about 50-60 miles after installing the dp fix.

Interesting i dont have jb4 but got ecu professinally tuned. No check lights so far. Is there a way to install that vrsf fix without jb4?

You dont need JB4 for the DP fix.

you can pass with one monitor not ready, or figure out a way to force the monitors to show ready w/ an ecu flash.

you can also do a DP fix, but they are waaaay harder to get working on EWG cars.

For whoever needs to pass inspection hit up ENZO. I tried the VRSF and it made my monitors complete after a couple of miles but threw a check engine light on stg1. and Stock map. Went to ENZO and i was good to go.

I couldn't pass inspection last year but I need to renew my registration soon so is there anyway of passing or would I have to put the stock dp back on? I have rk tunes and ER catless dp.

Nothing you can do to pass NYS inspection with a catless DP. I tried everything under the stars. I wound up removing DP, installing OEM DP, passing, then installing catless DP back. Make sure you swap your gaskets each time.
