After doing the coding it actually show S1-S8 in DS mode so you know which gear you are current on.
I believe this default if you have shift paddles option.

Cool, thanks! I'm adding this to my coding list...

Have you coded this on an F30 yet?

The reason I ask is that I don't see an "EGS" ECU for my frame, I think that name is from the F10.

I did find the referenced settings in my "GKEB" ECU.

So I'm wondering if there are differently named ECU's depending on whether the car has the SAT (Sports Auto Trans) or not. My car does not have the SAT.

Does anyone has an inverter that you can bring on Sunday? I might need one for my laptop in case the codding take longer than my battery life.

My car does not have SAT and I did successfully code this to my car.
I just check the E-SYS again with my car. I do have a "EGS" ECU.
I am runing psdzdata 50.4, don't know if that makes a difference.

I'm the procedure from the PPK press release may be referencing using ISTA/P and that would be a different procedure, but may be the same value.

Do you have an example of what an Plant Integration Level value looks like?
The plant integration level value looks like: F020-12-11-500. Hope this helps.

That's exactly what the E-Sys I-step format is too, so yes, we can read your current (along with previous, and factory) I-Step values for you.

Great! Thanks much. I'm not looking for a lot of coding, so appreciate this extra task.

If you have a CIC (nav from 2012 or 2013) based car and have the Combox (in the trunk), then it's pretty easy to add enhanced BT to the car. If you don't have the Combox, then you're SOL.

The Combox is in the trunk, lift and pull out the trunk bottom (felt cover). At the far back of the trunk there will be some fuses on the right, and the big silver Combox on the left. If just have a big empty space, then you don't have the Commbox.

If the rain persists will the meet be rescheduled?

Also, has anybody found a way to enable Auto Start/Stop in Sport mode?

Sunday looks clear! Gonna be a fun meet.

I don't think the start stop in sport has been figured out yet.

Switching from Comfort to Sport doesn't affect ASS; if it was on, it stays on, if it was off, it stays off. What are you looking for the car to do?

I'm a rain or shine kind of guy so I'll be there regardless of the weather.

Sunday does look to be cool and clear, a perfect day!

Not on my car. It deactivates in Sport/Sport+. Apparently it can't be coded to stay on when Sport/Sport+ is engaged.

Wow, another difference in 2014's I guess. When you switch back to Comfort, does ASS turn back on?

I don't have Sport+ mode, so I can't comment on that.

Yeah it does. It's only active in ECO and Comfort.
