320i 90mm tailpipe

After having my 'beancan' 90mm tailpipe fitted a while ago
and still not being satisfied with the look.

I'm having a slightly different style tailpipe fitted.
still the 90mm as it's the next size up from 'peashooter'.
But with a rolled in and back slash finish, not just straight cut.

Car is up on ramp atm.

well here's my latest exhaust trim

90mm, slashed, rolled in, i love it!
i'm finally really happy with the look of the back of the car,
this will be the way it's staying... and the way all the 320's and below should have looked imho....

Thanks to Imran at tourqueflow exhausts in birmingham,
superb job and very quick too.
all done for just £60 including the stainless trim.

New trim being fitted

neat welding

better fitting the bumper cutout

in much better proportion to the car now

thanks

i don't think the cutout is anywhere near big enough for a twin pipe,
it would need to be more oval elongated.
with your msport diffuser you can just swap it for a 330d twin pipe can't you?

i was talking to a guy who drove up from southampton when i booked in,
having a full stainless sport system and spring lowering plus dyno i i think...
he said they are raved about on the merc forum's and come from all over as the work is superb and great prices...

anyway speaking to Imran at torqueflow today,
he said there's so much room at the back muffler section to do anything you wanted regarding tailpipes when fitting a new exhaust.
singles, twins, doubles, quads, any size, any shape...

Looks good!

I installed my M tip a while back. I can't remember the exact diameter but I like it. Everytime I see a 320 around now I think how tiny the OE tip is. Your's is well done.

How is the M-tip mounted, a simple procedure? I assume this is a 320i not a 320d
