just purchased an 2013 335i n55 for my son. I am not familiar with these cars and just got a check engine with these two codes. only had the car for 5 weeks just want to get these fixed. looked on yt and searched here but did not find much info other than it my be the thermostat. any help would be great. car does run around 250 and did see yesterday was running about half which seemed odd and shortly after got the check eng light.

You really need a way to check coolant temp to confirm. Any OBD2 adapter that can communicate with the car and one of the free apps should work. |

Did you ever figure out what the issue was with the car? I just changed my valve cover and spark plugs yesterday and am getting the P0598 code from my ODB reader.

When they went out again, did you see the same codes, or something else? Just want to confirm before I order the parts. I was planning on just the thermostat, or does P15f8 indicate that both the water pump and the thermostat have issues? |
