If it's leased how are you able to sell it?

The price noted is more than likely at or close to the residual or current buyout price of the car.

I would buy it and then turn around and sell it.
If there were more time one could do a lease transfer and allow the next person to buy it at the residual but I hear those processes take 8 weeks and my expiration is Jan 20. |

Unfortunately, yes, the cost to the next person would be my residual plus taxes and fees plus a spread, and then, you'd have to pay taxes on top of that. The only way to avoid the double tax would be to do a lease transfer, but I learned that BMW only allows transfers when there are a minimum of 6 months left in the lease. Then you can transfer, pay the remaining payments, and residual and one set of taxes.

Friend referred me to you
Hi,
My friend mentioned he had spoken to you. I'm looking to transfer the vehicle to CA and will have cash in hand within the coming month. Thought I would reach out now to introduce myself and find out more about the vehicle if it is still available. Do you still have the original sticker? What is your current asking price for a cash offer? Thanks Gabriel |
