I have done it for my 435i xdrive, this one is the quickest and very satisfying mod ever. I have M Sport package, no paddles, no launch control. I've done it via Bimmercode, and along with this mod, also launch control was by default activated, no need for expert mode modification. The response is very nice in sport mode and sport transmision, faster than before, and seems to stay longer in same gear, seems more confident. Also i find it better in comfort mode, don t know if it's placebo though.

Hi guys,

I have coded option 2TB using VO coding.

After reading this topic it wasn't clear to me exactly what modules to code so I went ahead and coded them all after I changed 205 to 2TB in salapa elements.
After successful VO coding of option 2TB, I FDL coded FEM_BODY => PADDLES_VERBAUT from aktiv to nicht_aktiv
Car is working fine, sport+ enabled on the instrument cluster (along with S1, S2, S3 etc) and also on nbt screen.
It shifts a little higher than sport mode, car feels more agressive.

For all the good things that I gained there is also a downside.

There is one error message that I can't seem to fix.
CF2101 - No message (shift paddle operation, 0x207)
Fault description: The receiving control unit logs the fault when an expected message from transmitting control unit is not received. These types of faults usually stem from interference on the bust connection between the affected control units (physical link).

Using Ista d, this CF2101 error code in EGS module comes back instantly after clearing.

I even VO coded back 205 option instead of 2TB but the error message is still there.

Any ideas on how to solve the error message CF2101?

Car is a bmw f30 lci 320d efficient dynamics from 07/2015 ; steering wheel without paddles

Hello,

I have VO coded 2TB into my F34 today. I don't have paddle shifters, so I changed
PADDLES_VERBAUT to nicht_aktiv.
(also EGS/3000 Applikation -> LC -> nicht_aktiv, as I don't care about launch control - i don`t think it matters to my issue)

Thing is that now I got an error on EGS module:
CF2101 No message (operation of shift paddle, 0x207)
I understood that's a common error and goes away after EGS reset with ISTA. I did that, resetting adaptions, but the error is still there. So I don't know how exactly to get rid of it, as it's the only error and it's annoying...

Thanks

I see this thread has not been active for a while but thought I would add a few comments.
I also have an AH3 that has 2TB from the factory. I also only get DS displayed when moving lever to the left. Had a look in my transmission module (EGS) which in my case is GKEHY23 - and there is hardly anything in there. certainly no
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter_alt -> aktiv
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter -> aktiv
Would be nice to have S1 - S7 but not a big deal.
Also note using translator that these translate to sport switch and sport switch old, so not sure what they are actually pointing to.
Also Sportlenkung, which many mention, translates to sport steering, so possibly not referring to gearbox either.
Actually wondering if the swapping in the ICM module between 2TB and 205 verbaut (installed) and not installed is actually the code that is activating the sports gearbox i.e.
ICM/IcmKod_B_S2TBA -> verbaut
But some are not even coding this with FDL coding and are saying it has made the change.
I am only giving my thoughts and don't actually know if any of this is true. As said my car already has sports transmission (with paddles and sports shifter lever) and sports variable steering from the factory. Was just wondering why I don't get the S1-7 readouts. Perhaps it is an older software version in one of the modules. Interested in your thoughts. David

Just code the following:

EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter -> aktiv
EGS/3000 Applikation -> LC -> aktiv

Try it out.
Sorry I’m a bit new to expert mode and this is the first time I’m trying to code something. Where do I find the EGS settings. I tried searching for them in the ICM and ETC setting but couldn’t find it anywhere. Could you give me a bit of a walk through?

SAT (option code 2TB) can be activated without going into expert mode. There's four different selections that need to be made. Very simple.

Guys just did this to mey 12/2012 30 320d ed.
At first I thought it wasn't very noticeable. In Eco Pro and Confort the changes are a bit quicker and the box engages sooner (the torque converter probably locks sooner and even when decelarating it stays locked).
However after changing to Sport and Sport Manual... WHAT A DIFFERENCE
Super quick, DSG like shifts, very engaging.
Only problem it that now I wanna do more and more pulls xD

Super late to the party but I just did this over the weekend...nothing earth shattering for me but I do notice more responsiveness in comfort mode (whereas before the car would be very sluggish at lower gears)

Most probably it doesn't. Easy way is to take off the negative terminal from the battery and then take off the airbag. You'll then be able to see the horizontal metal spokes of the steering wheel and if there are holes or not. After which you pop the airbag back into it's place and then reconnect the negative terminal to the battery. Yoy'll then get an error in iDrive to set the time and date.

It doesn't just shift at lower RPMs, in fact it doesn't always do that. If you keep the pedal to the metal it will ride all the way up the tach (kickdown switch engaged).

The main thing it does is remap the fuel curve to bring lots of the HP early on in the RPMs so as soon as you hit the gas you feel it! This is what so many people fall in love with.

Unable to get (S1_S7)

Hi I have vo coded 2TB but I can’t get S1 to S7 after shifting to DS, it just shows DS, is there additional coding in ICM or KOMBI that I have to do?
