F30 Quad Exhaust - What Hassle?

Hi,

I've got a 330d 2013 F30 xDrive and wanted to eventually fit a quad exhaust. As I was going purely for aethstetics I was thinking about just doing tips.

Then I managed to acquire a quad exhaust system taken off a 2013 F30 330d and was told it would be a direct swap.

I know very little about exhaust and before I show my mechanic and open up a can of worms I wanted some peoples advice on what I'm looking at and how much hassle this is going to cause and if this is just going to be a 'direct bolt-on' with no tuning needed? (says it mounts on from the DPF back).

Apparently it was taken off an AutoVogue BMW.

Cheers!

I have no idea if that'll fit but I just did a quad tip exhaust on my 2013 328i. Only came with 2 pipes on left side .

Muffler shop charged me like $100 with me bringing my own tips

This was my planned route but wasn't sure if the silencer would have to be changed or if you could just add 2 tips to the other side of it?

I cut one of the two pipes on the left and they welded it shut. Then added that same pipe to the right and added a dual tip to each side. Kept stock muffler sounds great , still quiet as hell though. I took out the material inside of the muffler, made it real deep.

Nice. I might to this... except just add another exit on the other side.
Not sure why you bothered to cut one and weld it shut.
