Steering Rack 340i

Hi, best place to ask the following I thought:

When I'm parking up mostly or low speed cornering around town, the steering rack seems to make a noise. Not a squeal really, but a noise like a mini squeal I guess.
Difficult to describe.
Only occasional, but as I say, low speeds only.

Any ideas? Or am I just going mad?

My 335i makes clunking noises at low speed. It's on its second rack and second set of tie-rod ends. No idea why this should be so hard for BMW to get right.

Could it be the good old Brembo squeal?
