Is the N20 engine really not capable of handling the extra power? Would a jb+ or dinantronics piggy back be easier on the engine? I love my car and would hate for the engine to blow all for a few extra horsepower. Will I be fine with stage one if I just upgrade my charge pipe and boost pipe? Thanks guys
The issue with the JB+ and Dinnan piggy back is how they work is to trick the computer into thinking your at 3-4psi less on boost so the ECM compensates by adding boost. Only problem is the other MAP sensor is still reading the actual pressure so it relies on the knock sensor to kick in more fuel/timing. Problem with that is by the time the computer compensates you're already in knock. Granted this all happens in milliseconds and plenty of peeps run these with no issues.

Personally I would go with a Stage 1 or better from Buger or Dinnan. These utilize multiple sensors so the ECM makes the adjustments prior to knock, seamless.
