Mrs W has, yet again, been trying to keep the annual presents excess under the radar by starting the shopping in August. It never works and pretty obvious when we have to pack what appears to be Amazon's entire UK warehouse into the children's stockings

My Mrs does the same every frigging year. Drives me nuts but somehow loves all the piles of presents & the kids aren't going to argue.

In France, near Annecy, 4 families, 8 adults and 6 children! Bedtime last night was hard work, although helped by tiredness from sledging all afternoon in the sunshine. I got over the busy day by drinking 3/4 of a bottle of Bombay Sapphire after they'd gone to bed.

My wife thinks I may have spoiled Christmas Day with my hangover........

Kids all having a great time though.
