F34 / F30 Charge Pipe Fitment (N55)
I know that the ECSTuning fitment guide is not the ultimate authority on part fitment however I noticed that on both the stock and aftermarket charge pipe, it says that it is the same part for our F34’s as the F30’s.
I ask because I’ve also seen one or two F34 specific aftermarket charge pipes but they seem much less common than the F30 ones. Anybody have a way to confirm compatibility? |

The ECS site shows a few options when filtered for F34. It doesn't have just the ER charge pipe but it does have a full kit, and I've seen a post where an f34 owner used that.
Which one were you thinking? I am leaning towards the turner hot/cold combo. |

I’d probably go with the FTP kit myself but I want to confirm fitment as I believe there is a difference between xDrive and RWD models and then confirm that there is nothing that is F34 specific.
According to RealOEM.com the charge pipe used on the F30 and F34 is the same part number but it also says that it’s the same part number for xDrive and RWD models so I don’t know what to make of that. Maybe because the OEM one is flexible? |

FWIW, I emailed Evolution Racewerks about fitment and got the following response to my 335iX:
“Yes, it will fit. The F34 uses the same charge pipe. Make sure you order xDrive version. Regards, Fred Su Evolution Racewerks www.evolutionracewerks.com“ So I guess that answers my questions! Posting here so hopefully it helps someone else in the future Last edited by x4runnerGunnerx; 07-07-2020 at 05:14 PM.. Reason: Confirming xDrive |

Went all out and did the Turner kit with the intercooler. We'll see how it goes. At that point I'll probably pay for an install. Are you going to DIY the FTP pipe?

Let me know how it fits! Yeah, I’ll DIY the install at some point. Luckily my stock one is still holding. Will upgrade shortly when I decide to bump it up to a BM3 Stage 1 tune.
