Now I detest shopping at the best of times and normally there would be no way I'd go near a shopping centre this time of year.
Annoyingly I had to go and pick something up today and I had lost my rag within the first 2 minutes of being near a car park. I just wanted to park as far from anyone but to do so means driving through that absolute to55ers who seem to share the same brain cell. People just randomly stopping and indicating in case a space opens up. People reversing out of spaces thinking their car is indestructible. People just driving aimlessly up and down for hours trying to find a space near the entrance, even though they have spent 20minutes doing it and could have parked, walked and had a coffee in that time. People walking in the road again thinking they are indestructible. People trying to park in a space which is clearly too small. These are the biggest ar5eholes who squeeze into a space, scratching paint and denting doors. Did I mention I hate them all. |

I think most car parking systems are rubbish. I frequent one car park and when it is max it will only allow 10 cars in after it has let 20 out. It definitely has some kind of calculation feature linking the barriers.
Westfield in London is stressful but at least their are signs such as... 200 spaces right and 0 spaces left. Other ones I have been to just keep letting people in and the situation is as you describe it. Personally I am so fed up on the good money we pay toward some of these car parks and there is a lack of security. Some proud 5 star rated car parks should have their rating stripped. There are some I have been to with no patrol or cctv despite advertising this on the entrance and website. The local Waitrose is the worst. Every time we go I see cars being dinged and scuffed. I got so fed up that I stay with the car and send the wife in unless we can order online. I am so glad we decided not to go shopping this boxing day. Didn't even half to remind the good lady that shopping is not a sport. |

Cars have gotten bigger, and car park owners have gotten greedier (more, smaller spaces crammed in). But this is just all the more reason to park with care. Instead, people just suit themselves. Our company car park is populated by mindless, selfish arseholes. Just look at this:

In reality, likely to come back and find the car full of dents, as the owner of the car next to it 'enraged', tries to get into his/her car. |

Haha one of the biggest drawbacks of my f32, ridiculously BIG doors. Can make parking in tight spaces a nightmare lol

Remote parking would have been brilliant to reverse the car out so we could get in easily. Still wouldn't have stopped numpty nuts next to us though |
