I hope someone can relate,

My car gets some sort of rattling noise once in a blue moon when going over bumps. When I drive my car after a cold start during the winter season , I can hear and feel the rattling noise coming from right under the middle hand rest when I go over small bumps. I feel like there is a loose exhaust clamp or something. It happens randomly so it is hard to replicate the issue at the dealership. I was able to find a youtube video that describes the exact same issue:

No ones seems to the know the cause of this(based on the youtube comments) but it is a concerning matter for some people.

I drive a '14 BMW 435i xdrive coupe with M sports brakes.

Yeah same behaviour. Based on my research, it could be the control arm bushing. Will check it out with the dealer and confirm it.

did you ever figure out what it was? I have the same issue on my F36 440i and it first started happening after changing out my front suspension
