Caliper rebuild kit ? - F30 MSport brakes

Good morning Forum members,

One of the rear calipers (M sport Blue) on my F30 335 is dragging. This is a single piston Bosch unit. Dealer wants $600 for a new one and 2 weeks to bring it in. While I wouldn’t mind spending money to upgrade my brakes I have a real problem spending that kind of money when the problem is likely a $2 seal. Hence the question:

Anyone know where I can buy a caliper rebuild kit ?

Thank you for your help.

google 'BMW caliper rebuild kit'. That will take you to retailers who sell them, once on their site you can order the correct kit.

Isn't the rear M Sport Brake kit a 2 piston (not 1 piston) caliper?

I use rockauto.com for all my caliper rebuild parts.

Hi Polo,

Mine is 2013 and only has 1 piston. I think later models had 2 pistons.

I just rebuilt my front calipers tonight in my 335i because of the same issue.

I got my Centric Brake rebuild kits off of autoanything.com and had them from California to my door step in Wisconsin in less then 24 hours.

Centric Brakes had a fitment for the rear calipers I believe
