HELP - hey guys, my 435i has been sitting in the driveway for a few days. Went out to it this AM and found ALL the factory settings were RESET - seat, radio, nav, etc. I know for sure I didn't do the reset personal data feature in the idrive.

The car is set to full factory default settings like when the power is cut.

Think someone tried to boost my car?

Question, can you program it again? If not your connected drive module is bad.... maybe water got in on the antenna....happened to my f36

Also if you weren't using Profiles before and somehow selected a profile, it will reset everything. Just happened to me. Even radio presets were gone.

Yes, turns out, I used a key fob (that came with the car) that I never used. So the user profile was never picked up. And thus why the car acted like it was completely powered down/factory reset.

And yes, I feel like an idiot!

assuming you live in the bay area...

if someone had the tech to steal a car... idk if a 435 is their first choice of all the other cars they can steal....
