Arrived a little after 1:00 and I'm on my way home 45 mins later - just did a test run with Alex behind the wheel to do some logging - impressions from the passenger seat? Wow!

Alex what a great personable professional patient guy - feel good giving MP my business - now for the drive home :-)

well that was a fun drive home....thanks again to Alex, truly a great guy to deal with.

Comments: money well spent and I'm pleased with the results - no shift stutter (or whatever we're calling that these days) with WOT pulls or anywhere else for that matter - how can I explain how it feels to me?

I wouldn't say it's transformational rather I would say it's more of what we already have (a lot more)....throttle tip in is certainly more sensitive and the increased torque down low is very noticeable. I found myself cruising on the freeway in Sport Mode at say 3k or so RPM (maybe more maybe less)...giving it a little throttle and the car pulled as if I was turning higher RPM (sorry if that doesn't make alot of sense) for those of you that are familiar with the 335D I would kind of compare it to that driving experience - torque readily available on demand.

Mashing the throttle in Sport+ from a stop results in smooth linear pulls and shifts to redline.

So that's about it - kudos to Alex and MP I'm impressed.

ps-
burbles/gunshots are much more noticeable

pps-
While I am running about 2.5 gallons of E85 with my California 91 - I'm looking forward to a even better driving experience when the weather shifts here a bit - today in Riverside it was 105 super humid and ash is falling from the sky - conditions probably couldn't be much worse for getting performance out of a car, in fact Alex commented that my intake temps were through the roof.

Wow so just got back from a 200 mile round trip drive (son and I attended a BCCA tour) - had 3 gallons of E85 in the tank in my otherwise stock car - first time I had some open highway in front of me since the tune (we left at 5am)

All I can say is Holy Poop - the torque is intoxicating - cruising in S+ mode at 75 accelerating hard for a short burst found the car traveling at roughly 110 whereas without the tune I would normally be at 100 under the same circumstances. The car just pulls like a freight train. Have to relearn a bit how to drive it and what to expect from it under different circumstances

Maybe I'm getting used to it - maybe the car is getting used to me - maybe the E85 has settled in - don't know - what I do know for sure (for me) is it was a great drive and car just continues to get better

chenry How do you find your car off the line?
Have you noticed its more or less eager to pull away?

I found mine seems slightly laggy and then just fights the rears for grip.
Mid range is phenomenal but down low the car is seemingly the limit.

I have noticed that a bit on occasion - but not sure if it's just me getting used to driving the car - that said I did just shoot a video this morning to share what I'm experiencing 0-60 - hope that helps a bit

But you was used to driving the car before wasnt you?
I felt mine was worse after the map.

I did find that sport+ seems to fix the problems but it does mean you have to be more careful

my initial impression was "wow throttle tip-in" is very sensitive / I did experience a little throttle hesitation on one occasion when I was on it pretty hard - did a hard brake as I was pulling a hard right - got the car from probably 50mph down to 10mph and nailed the throttle out of the turn - that said can't say if it was driver error or the tune.

How do you like those mid range pulls - say from 112 KPH to 177 KPH or so? :-)

I found hesitation off the lights only.

As for the midrange pulls 40-70mph, 60-100, 90-120 etc all happen a fair chunk faster.
I've not timed any of these runs but you can really feel it.

thats my favorite part - I'm not a 0-60 guy - but I do love my mid-range

Just got back from Mission...Since I had some specific things coded on my car I had some complications with programming but Alex wrote some custom code on the fly and got it all working...

...I'll keep it simple. Smoother than stock with much better AFRs after doing some logging with Alex. Easily more noticeable power over the entire RPM range. Especially up top. Adaptive and usable with up to E30 for even more power which I can attest to. Highly recommended for all.
