Im thinking it would get that hazy appearance like older headlight plastic after a few years and it would even be more noticeable

another thing is that with those metallic colors and the clear coat that dealer touch up paint doesn't match very good. It may look better that a chip showing the base coat but its still very noticeable. Now maybe on alpine white or some of the basic colors the final results may be more successful.

Clear-bra was the first thing I did to mine. Ive had clear-bras on all my cars since 2005 and havent run into any issues. Although, I only keep my cars for 3 years. The film used now is much better than it use to be.
It is recommended to be replaced every 3 to 5 years. I had my bumper, hood, mirrors, headlights, fogs, and rocker panels done. It was 790.00 but gives me a piece of mind.

I just chipped the paint on my g20 trying to change out the kidney grille . Its not even noticeable unless you know its there, but its just so annoying because i know its there lol and i cant see it the same anymore.
