How do you like those 6pot ARMAs? They cost a bundle?

it gives a more linear braking performance than the AP 9660 and better braking power but it could due to bigger pistons. performance on the track is great as I ran three 20 mins section and I did not feel the braking power is fading but definitely need a set of tracking brake pads. price of them are reasonable.

carbon fiber hood is on before the next track event. All i can say is the OEM hood is freaking heavy. Replacing just the hood already cut 10kg of fat. I also removed the OEM hood lock and used racing hood lock to secure the hood. the OEM hood struts were too strong for the carbon fiber hood, so I also replaced them with F82/F80 hood struts

Fitment looks decent, I've seen some CF bonnets with piss poor fitment/panel gaps

I like that you've painted it too, not a fan of completely exposed carbon bonnets, unless they're partially painted to show off carbon in some accent pieces (vents etc)

The fitment is 9/10 as the left fender gap is larger than the right fender gap. besides that everything is perfectly fit. I am not a big fan of exposed carbon fiber hood so I got it painted to keep the cars stock look.

Cpm official web site should have information on them. As for the larger radiator I do see a decrease of about 5 to 10C on water temperature. Also see a decrease on intake air temperature. I would suggest adding meth to lower IAT as it is way more effective

Having been lazy logging in these days, but I did make some minor upgrades on the car.

I upgraded to a bigger radiator to lower the intake air temperature and hoping the car can last few more laps on the track.

Also replaced all the control arm bushings to aluminium bushing including the subframe bushing as I do need a better road feedback on the track.

Also I bought the F82/F80 brake cooling kit from Revozports and modified it to fit on my car. The cooling plate need to be cut quite a big portion to make them fit, so I wouldn't recommend people doing it as it's way too expensive but once again, I need to extra brake cooling on the track.

Trying not to make too much damage to the oem parts when installing the kit

Found a very subtle place to mount a universal brake air duct

Haven't updated my build for quite some time. I have done some minor upgrades to my car but make me fall in love with the car all over again.

Quafie LSD - I think it's a must have mod for those who are tracking their cars as it totally transform the car with way way way better handling, less understeering and better braking performance. AND YES, easier to go side way too.

B48tu/B58tu high pressure fuel pump - ECU need to be custom tuned after the hardware is installed. I can feel car pulls harder on acceleration and runs smoother too.

Relocating the brake duct inlet - so I have been looking for a better location to mount the brake duct inlet as I want to keep the car OEM+ look and YES I found the ultimate solution to mount the inlet - the fog light grille. after some measuring and cutting on the foglight bracket and the plastic plate, I finally got to have them mounted with securely.

19" BBS LM - The BBS LM has always been my dream wheels since I was 18 years old, but I couldn't afford them when I was young. As a result, I think it's time for me to fulfill my dream on the Bimmer. YES, I pulled the trigger and got a set of aggressive spec BBS LM for the F30. They are 19x9 ET27, 19x10 ET37 mounted on Michilin PS4S.

AND some more photoshoots

More rolling shots

Havn't updated the thread for a while, recently I got some major upgrade on the car.

I have been having issue with the water temperature sensor on the VEI gauge so I pulled the trigger and got myself a proper Defi water temperature gauge and used the SNOW gauge to read the boost level instead of having one single gauge with dual readings. While looking for a proper location to mount the water temperature gauge, I have come up with an idea of mouting it on the side window ventilation vent on the windshiled, so I removed the OEM vent and had it 3D scanned and redesigned a pod to fit a 60mm DEFI gauge in it. I have the pod 3D printed. Result came out pretty great and fitment is perfect.

I also went to a car audio shop to have them custom made a pod for my SNOW meth gauge. To me it's a way better location as it does not block the air condition vent.

Looking for the best intake solution on the market for years, I finally made up my mind on a set of AFE magnum intake kit. I did a dyno run myself on a roller dyno machine here in China with same altitude, same temperature and same tune to see the HP gains. The result was not bad, about 8hp gain on the wheel.

Having the car for almost 90k kms on the clock, I have decided to strengthen up the heart by throwing some forged goodies in it and with bigger turbo of course. I Got the Garrett 3071r on the car with CP forged pistons. Currently I am still breaking in the car and can't wait to see how much HP the Garrett can make on dyno with a proper tune.
