can i re-use xenon in these headlight housing?

changed my headlights over weekend from stock housing to these due to lens damage on OEM housing. the car already had a xenon conversion in the OEM housing which work great. curious if i can re-use? these look wonderful but give off extremely poor light maybe 10 feet. i havnt bothered adjust yet, but would the left right adjustments improve the throw distance?

LED Projector head lights

Xenon requires more than just the bulbs - ballast and starter/igniter.

OP said he has hid conversion on his old housing... so assuming he want to transfer it to the new housing which can be done. HID ballast and starter igniter can be used but hid bulb is a question mark. You need a hid bulb that is compatible with the new housing.

( still don't recommend hid conversion kit for halogen housing).

The new housing is H7, the original housing would have been H7, so it's a safe assumption that the HIDs can be moved from the one to the other. Whether it will work well or not is a different story. What's critical is that the HID filament position duplicates that of an H7 halogen, and that the HID bulb does not have forward radiation. Most don't meet these requirements. If you look at an H7 halogen you can see a coating on the front of the bulb that prevents forward radiation. Most LED H7 replacements also have a geometry that prevents forward radiation. Most HIDs don't have a means of doing so. When a bulb has forward radiation it has to be used with a projector lens that focuses that radiation. H7 reflector housings don't have that feature. The OPs lamps do have projector lenses, so he might be OK. It's worth a shot, since he already has the HID bulbs.
