What are you doing tomorrow?

Kids swimming in the morning so I’ll go on the treadmill for an hour to sweat out the booze.

For once there is no kids party

A friend has just bought a 720s so there is a possibility of a ride in that.

If the sun comes out I may just sit in the garden and drink more wine, anybody care to join me?

9-11 Quickly wash cars
11-3 Watch Cricket World Cup final
3-4:45 Watch LFC v Bradford (and hopefully not miss end of WC Final)
4:45-6:30 Watch England lift ICCWC
6:30-9:00 Maybe watch Wimbledon on catchup if I've avoided seeing the score
9:00-10:30 Throw hammers at the TV while missus watches those tw@ts on Love Island
10:30 Bed before last week at work before summer hols (the joys of working in education)

Up at 6, bite of breakfast and coffee.
Out the house for 7, drive to Llanberis for the Snowdonia Trail Marathon.
Start the race at 9.
Hobble back into Llanberis, having done 26 miles and about 7000 ft vertically (including to the top of Snowdon), a few hours later.
Spend half an hour in the lake, using it like an ice bath.
Drive home, whimpering gently

Sleep in late...6. Get up, piss, coffee, coffee, dump. Get dressed. Stare at my car for 10 minutes making sure it's perfect as I detailed it for 3 hours today. Meet my BMW mgr 35 minutes away to give him a golf lesson as he sucks at 8am. Ask him if knows what pronating and supponating is. He looks at me like I have 2 heads. Hour later give him a "high" 5 and tell him he still sucks. Wish him well on his Mexico vacation. Tell him to give me his credit card so I can write his insurance or I sleep with his wife (hot btw). Talk about BMW and how their residuals aren't helping me out and to do something about it or else.

Drive home at 98 mph, radar detector on full volume listening to Barry Manilow and crying. Get home, kiss the dog, kick the wife and start washing HER car. Exactly 10 minutes later mow the lawn and wake up the neighbors, especially the trouser snake with the exciting silver Prius. Almost forgot...scoop up the shit from my other neighbors dog and place it on his front step next to his paper. Ring his door bell and walk back inside my house and add a priceless video to my collection.

Ask my wife "What's for breakfast". I get the middle finger of course and then say "IHOP". She perks up like a wedding dick and off we go. Aahhhh , the suburbs.

Early hours of the morning dealing with the fall out of when alcoholics and druggies turn on each other over £20 for more drugs.

06:20 go to a domestic called in by a neighbour. Turns out there was no domestic but the guy there had a warrant out for his arrest. Not what you want to hear when you are meant to be off duty at 07:00.

08:30-16:00 sleeping. Some food, some tennis and then at 19:00 start dealing with idiots again.

On the plus side, from tomorrow I'm off for 6 days and don't start work Sunday until 19:00.

Well, that plan didn't happen as hoped.

Tore a calf muscle at about 9 miles. Fortunately not far from a checkpoint, so only had to hobble about a mile to there. On the plus side, a friend of mine was also there supporting us all, and he gave me a lift back to Llanberis, so I didn't have to wait for sweeper vehicle or marshalls to come available.
Now home, fed and had a beer, iced and warmed the leg a few times, compression bandage on, nicely dosed up on ibuprofen, and hoping to see my physio in the morning.

Set off from Guisborough at 8.30 to Ulverston tomorrow with my good lady of 48 years.
Stop off on way at Kirkby Stephen for a bite to eat then on to Ulverston. Take a look at the laurel and hardy museum stroll round shops bit of dinner. Visit the the local monastery then drive back home calling in at Kirkby lonsdale Hawes Richmond then home.
I would like to have visited White scar caves at Ingleton but missus wont do it we went in the caves with the two oldest grandsons 18. 16 . seven years ago and she didn't like it at all especially when the tour guide switched all the lights out and told us it was a power cut. By jesus I nearly shit my pants .All good fun though.

Writing retrospectively about what I did Sunday, as it was one of my better days this year.

Wake up at 8am in a villa at Las Colinas Golf and Country Club in Spain. Order shuttle to clubhouse for 9.

Breakfast on terrace.

Practice ground for a few swings about 10, tee off at 10:30 for a surprisingly good round considering it was 35 degrees!

Back for lunch on the terrace. New pool by the club for late afternoon, few beers from their new bar, a converted Citroen van, swim and then watch cricket on my phone.

Beer on the beach at Playa Flamenca, followed by dinner at the Lobster Restaurant nearby.

Overall, a pretty good day.
