Hey yall.. read the whole thread but still have questions.
I picked up a full set of springs from an F80 from a member here, with the thought of putting them into my 2014 F32. I am STOCK suspension, non adaptive shocks with about 60k miles on them. (So yes, reaching near EOL on the shocks I would guess). Questions: 1 IS there a diff between M3 and M4 springs, therefore this M3 set wouldnt be a good idea into my F32 even though they may fit just fine? 2. Am I going to buy trouble in weeks/months if these overstress my OEM shocks? (yeah, I want to replace those too, but budget is hammered) thanks

The base M3/M4 springs should be the same or indistinguishably different.
I really, really, highly suggest not changing the springs until you can change the shocks as well. The Koni FSD shocks I used are just sufficient to dampen the springs, but I occasionally wish I would have gone with B8's or Koni sport yellows. Driving repeatedly on stock shocks would be awful. |
