Bad Architecture
I didn't know that a planning application had been made fr the "Tulip Tower" near the Gherkin. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-48989805
Apparently the London Review Panel concluded that The Tulip "does not represent world class architecture, it lacks sufficient quality and quantity of public open space, and its social and environmental sustainability do not match the ambition of its height and impact on London's skyline". I'm surprised they failed to mention the biggest problem : it looks like a giant sperm.

Hahaha, I hadn't thought of it that way. In my head it was a giant cotton bud.

God knows what they would say about our hotel right next to Tower Bridge and across the way from the Tower.... think its fair to say it is built in the brutalist style and 12 floors high... versus about 7 that would probably be passed nowadays....
