It was the main control unit that failed fyi. I see they run $300 new or $100 on ebay or I can code it out.

AIR and my service manual show a TPM/RDC module bolted to the gas tank strap under the car - is that what you are swapping out? My 2015 F36 doesn't seem to have that. When searching by not using my VIN, but a generic F36 model, the manual seems to indicate that tire pressure monitoring is done by the keyless entry start module in the rear near the fuel filler. I'm not having issues with any of the other functions of that module and I'd rather not tear apart the interior and guess. Interested in hearing your results. Thanks!

To the poster above yes I believe it's under the car near the tank or rear diff, I'll throw it up on ramps and check it out next weekend

So apparently the part I bought isn't the right one. 2015 the tpm unit is integrated into the dsc unit? I just had my mechanic code out the tpms alert

That's an awfully nice mechanic if he is willing to disable a driver safety feature for you. Out of curiosity how much would it be to properly fix the car?

A lot of people disable the tpms sensors, just make sure your tires are inflated. I'd say $1000+ to replace the whole thing

My understanding is that the remote locking module located inside the car above the fuel filler pipe is responsible for TPMS in F3x cars without the module under the car on the fuel tank strap. I can touch it through the battery access panel, but it appears I'll have to take all the trunk lining out to get at it in my F36. I'm leaning towards just coding it out as well.
