I suggest to first determine if the battery is healthy. Aging batteries can cause many codes to be triggered.

Clear them. BMWs will toss a code at the slightest provocation. They're only of concern if they keep coming back.

Once the battery health is confirmed, clear all codes as Billfitz has suggested. Any code that returns (hopefully there will be fewer to deal with) would be worth investigating.

I'd clear the codes straight away. If any return then you'd want to see if the battery condition might cause them. Even then I wouldn't assume the battery is bad. Parasitic power drain will give the same symptoms, a new battery won't fix that.
