Hey guys, I'm currently on the BM3 stage 1 tune and planning to get an intercooler.

Saw that PTF is releasing an intercooler soon, do you guys think it's worth the wait? Any other intercooler recommendations instead?

I think CSF is a good choice based on reviews

they have been teasing an intercooler for a while, unless you heard directly from them I would not expect it any time soon as no date has been set

Unless they are doing something revolutionary (don't expect this at all) or undercutting the comp by a lot of $$$ I would not hold my breath. There are too many options on the market right now to fit all power/car needs for this platform.

Major agree, why wait around, there's a few coolers on the market that perform REALLY well and at the limits of what fit the chassis mounting location, you're likely gonna see anything excel beyond what's available, by much if at all. And you stage 1 guys should be running a cooler upgrade; the stock one isn't even adequate in stock form. Lol

Yeahh can't agree more, don't think it's happening anytime soon so maybe you should just consider other options

Yeah I saw some reviews on the CSF ones, might consider either the CSF or VRSF intercooler then

They’re releasing it soon I think. It makes complete sense to me for them to do some bolt on parts that go well with the tunes. Active Autowerke does it, VF Engineering, Dinan, almost all German companies and many even little US based others.

Most of those parts are overpriced and under perform. No need for anyone one to wait, there are great IC's for great prices already.

yeah, had a guy with a 335 talking trash to me the other day and I was worried it would be close till I seen his mod list.. nearly all Dinan. now I can't race this guy fast enough
