Does anyone know how to decouple the steering weight from the suspension stiffness and throttle response in Sport Mode? I want: stiff suspension, responsive throttle, and light steering. My car has adaptive suspension.

I am in the Los Angeles area. Any recommendation for a shop that can properly code for this would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK, it's not possible to accomplish what you're looking to do with basic coding. There is a coding option to allow for Configuration of Sport mode, wherein, you can select either the drivetrain (throttle response) or chassis (steering & suspension) to be in sport or normal mode when Sport is activated. However, I don't think there's a way to code the Chassis configuration to make steering and suspension separate.

I don't have adaptive suspension, so it doesn't really apply to me, but this is based on what I've read thus far in the forums.

I know Dinan Shockware moves the stock sport suspension setting to Comfort mode, so you get stiff suspension and light steering, but not responsive throttle. I called Dinan to ask if they had a solution for this but no luck. I'm sure someone on this forum knows how to accomplish this.

If you're considering the Dinan shockware anyways, what you MIGHT be able to do is configure sport mode to have sport drivetrain but comfort chassis. That way you'll have the sport throttle response, the light steering, but "comfort" suspension, which is now essentially the sport suspension.

I prefer the heavier steering in the canyons. The lighter steering has less on center feel but is better at low speeds less than 10mph.

That's a great idea! I had not thought of this. Can someone who has Shockware installed confirm whether you can still configure Sport Mode after installing Shockware? In other words, in Sport Mode, are these options still available and functional?

You should be able to. All the shockware does is change a few values in the suspension ECU.
