400M Winter Wheel Set

Probably the wrong time of year to try to sell these but i'm in no rush.

Set of staggered fitment 400M alloys with TPMS. The alloys were second hand when I bought them and are in "used" condition with kerbing etc. Fine for a winter set, never bothered me. But obviously perfect for a refurb.

Tyres are Vredestein Wintrac Pro 225/45/18 - a very slight stretch on the rear rims. 99% of people wouldn't even notice the stretch.

All tyres are at ~6mm remaining. They perform faultlessly in the snow, I was amazed at the amount of grip. In the dry they are also excellent, can hardly tell the difference when moving from summer tyres.

Looking for £400.

Collection from the Newcastle / Durham area.

Too expensive or just the time of year?

Looks like a sensible price to me, so I would say it's the time of year. I generally list them in October when I sell mine.

Cheers, that's what I thought. Could do with getting them out of the garage.

Timing, great weather and people holding onto cash right now with uncertainty in the next few months.... with 6mm tread left that's a decent price!

I sold a set of 400M (but all fronts, so 8J) with Pirelli Sottozero II (5mm all round) yesterday for £260.

3 of the wheels were kerbed though (and really needed a refurb). if they are in good condition i think you're about right price wise - mine took ages to sell - hang in there!

Yeah I'll just hang on. Worst case, I'll use the tyres on my next car and the wheels can go on ebay.

Thanks for the responses, confirms my thoughts

I am interested, if you are open to using a courier. (I have a decent one I have used before for wheels)

Also do you have any photos you could share?
