i already blend 25% xylene to 91-92 octane, this should get me to around 97 octane, also running cm10 nozzle with 80/20 meth to water, but what is the max safe range for stock fueling system and what upgrades could be done to increase fueling? something like a second set of injectors? inline pump? changing pump? i want to understand! also are the limits far less to the n54? internals are cast vs forged in n54? or is that a myth ?

e85 is not available in egypt and our 95 octane was tested to only have 91 octane i use toluene and xylene to raise this figure to 97, also im not planning to lose the meth or anything it is great and i love it, i have the bms water meth which is controlled by the jb4, and i have the 2.3 gal tank which is big enough and also tolerates 100% methanol, i am going to read more about the stuff you mentioned in your last comment, but for now the price of the stage 2 turbo is very expensive 2 me but i am sure ill get it one day ! hope the price drops a bit over time or may be support my project as the first in Egypt by the way we have a great tuner here who is able to remap the ECU as i know this is a must when upgrading the turbo, another question please what is the highest possible output of stage 1 turbo?

no i do not agree with you, i can fabricate a complete exhaust manifold for less than 200 usd out of 304 stainless steel, a precision turbo would be around 700 to 800 usd, already have piping hoses and clamps, wastegate is not expensive and so a blow off valve, whats expensive then ?

Also I went down the tuning part via DME. There is a 14.5 psi boost limiter in the DME. And after 4500-4800 rpm it will drop down further. Even if you up the load you won't see more boost. Untill they find the limiter you can only tune the car via JB4.

I saw this car at EAS and those are good numbers. Time will only tell what the car can do. FBO F30 V stock M3 ya I can see that. FBO vs JB4 m3 and its a done deal.

Without substantial, costly modification the 135i would likely be lapped by an M3 on proper road course (assuming the 135i managed stay out of limp mode long enough to complete more than a handful of laps). Two great- but very different- vehicles. FWIW- There are likely K04'd GTIs that would beat your FBO N54 in a straight line...but I can't imagine you'd be that upset about it. |

Congrats! Amazing numbers! But the dyno plot you posted shows 523, not 528... Semantics, I know... What's 4 HP when you're pushing well over 500
