Need thoughts. To turbo or not?

Ok guys so im in a pickle and need to hear your thoughts. Car is a 2013 335i xdrive, fbo which includes the following

Pure stage 2 with updated wheel and 1200 miles on it flawless runs great
Dorshe stage 2 hpfp
Pure large turbo inlet
Evolution racing charge pipe
Evolution racing catted 4in downpipe
Wagner evo comp intercooler
Eldor coils
Awe touring exhaust and mid pipe
Modified stock intake box with AFE drop in filter
MHD custom tune David Shoup
XHP stage 4

Currently its on a great tune David an i have spent many many days perfecting the tune on crappy 91 octane. No E available here unfortuately and so i just bought an AEM meth kit to install for more boost and timing. Currently its doing well with 18 psi and 5 drgrees of timing. Mostly because of the higher alt of 4500 ft above lets me get away with a bit more on 91.

Heres the dilema i have come across a speedtech kit with the 8374 efr turbo only 1000 miles on it for a great price. Being my goal is around 550 to 580 all wheel horsepower with the methanol injection I'm trying to decide if it's worth changing to the speed Tech system. Normally I would do the install myself but being in the medical field we are pretty darn busy at the moment. I'm sure it would be pretty easy to sell my PS2 for a decent price being that it's newer. But id also have to pay my guy to swap.it so another 1000 on top.of selling my turbo and buying the speedtech. Just would like some knput from some of you guys n what you would do based on what i have, my goals, and fueling available to me. Thanks

Adding meth to your ps2 would allow you to run a fare bit more boost and timing. I'm not at your altitude but I run 24psi and 10 to 11 degrees of timing on my ps2 as a daily with 93 and 70%meth.

The speed tech turbo is much more capable than the ps2. Not just the turbo but the exhaust manifold is much more free flowing. The turbo also spools much faster. Almost like oem.

If my goals were yours and I could do it for a steal, I would definitely go the speedtech route. But it may be worth putting in the meth kit and extracting more from your ps2 and see if you are happy first. Meth kit is an easy install.

Should get you into the 500s hp wise.

Big boost have a lot of lag, however I think the lag is what helps keep the internals inside lol.
I have been eyeballing the gtx800 line from garret however, not sure on the spool but should be far better than their master turbos line

I have the 8374 installed with supporting mods. Tuned by wedge pushing 636hp on full E with 22lbs of boost. Tune isnt finalized due to some gremlins but i have noticed full boost at ~4500rpms.

We were able to hit 500hp at 16lbs on an e30 blend before we added port injection.

I'd do the speedtech; lag will be marginal.

EFRs spool very quickly for a turbo of that size.

Thank you all that responded to my question and taking the time to offer up the advice. I think for the moment I will hold off spending the money being its my daily driver I would have to spend 3k for the kit for now, 1k to have it put in, then a rental for a week call it 200 bucks, then the time to retune it. Id be looking at a few weeks and almost 5k right off the top. I mean sure I can recoup some of that selling my pure ps2 but that would require time and so who knows how long since Im not going to be lowballed its brand new. I feel that the best course of action at the moment is install the meth and up the timing and boost and see if Im happy. If im happy great if not then start looking for next step or maybe a B58 lol. I mean the car is getting up there in miles 125k runs flawless and everything is well maintained and working great but I worry what limits ill hit first and then its more to fix. I would be very tempted to go higher with the speedtech since it capable of 700hp. Just like said above the price is great its available no waiting and its what I originally wanted but from the sounds of it, it is a bit slower spooling than my PS2 I have full boost by 3200 and D1rty b1rd said his hits full at 4500 I would like it as quickly as possible.
