No way. If you had an M car and a Honda Fit commuter car, would you put an ///M on the Fit? No one with a real M car would deface the badge like that. At least I hope not.

You know, when it's on a Honda Fit, it's actually pretty funny. It's obvious to anyone that would know what the badge was that it's not a BMW M car. I wouldn't be surprised if this person were an enthusiast with a much nicer car at home using the Fit as a commuter car and put the badge on as a joke. I know plenty of coworkers making a ton of money that drive cars like this to work. In fact, my old boss used to drive a manual transmission Honda Fit to work.

A friend has one of these in manual and let me take it for a spin a couple years back. I won't say it is a wolf in sheep's clothing or anything, but it is absolutely more fun to drive than a cheap economy car has any right to be.
