fog lamp malfunction

Hi,

My driver side fog lamp stopped working today, and I’ve gotten a “fog lamp malfunction” warning on my dash and check control. Does this mean i need a new fog bulb or is this something more serious?

It's probably the bulb. Pull it out, look at the filament.
