WMI Update B58

How reliable is the WMI setup for the BMW B58 , planning for running a 50/50 mix, together with a Torqbyte controller.. goal is to run regular 98 gas instead of the expensive 100+ gas.

but i also read some horror stories about some engines destroyed cause sometimes the WMI not reaching cylinder 1/6 .

My dealer said running WMI with a CM7 nozzle on a charge pipe is reliable enough today !!

Pure800 Dorch 1 + WMI 80/20(CM7/2) + 98Ron = 23/24psi limit. 50/50 No!
Pure800 Dorch 2 + WMI 100% (CM7/CM10) + E40= 27/28psi Ok!

CPI does not distribute evenly to all cylinders. I think it works best as an IAT crutch, unless you do PI. That would be a reliable setup.

I don't have experience with WMI but from what I've read I agree with G.Newt and use charge pipe injection only for cooling. Use port injection if you want to use it for fuel.

The problem with meth PI, is that the injectors are very small and clog easily, and when/if a PI meth nozzle clogs, that cylinder is toast. My personal preference is ethanol PI, as the injectors are larger and much less prone to clogging.
