How to raise the car?

Am a noob when it comes to coilovers.
First time with coilovers on my car. Bilstein B14s on my F30 335.
Which direction do i need to rotate the collar to raise?
My guess is counter clockwise so more strut is showing? Any help is appreciated

For the rear suspension you want the collar to come down putting more pressure on the spring.

For the front suspension you want the collar to move up the thread to put more Pressure on the spring.

Thanks. That's helpful.
Kind of counter intuitive for the rear.
