Goodbye 335xi & thanks to forum members for info

Til today have an extreme attachment towards my 335 which was sold this past weekend. Car itself is in great condition and engine is a beast. Decided to move on and purchase an 18 540 M-Sport. Call me a softie.but I'm still missing the driving experience with my 335. 540 is an absolutely amazing car with much more amenites then the 335 but it's still not as sporty and drive just doesnt feel the same. IMO the size makes a huge difference but it is what it is...Thanks to all from this forum for the feedback throughout my post..didnt post much but really appreciated responses...did a ton of research and learned a ton via forum on my 335 throughout the years...

Congratulations! Both cars look great! The 5 is a pretty big step up in terms of interior materials, quality, comfort, etc. I hope you enjoy it in good health for many years to come.

Yeah it seems the 3 series forum is the most active. Did you get the $ you expected for your 335?

Beautiful 5 series man, B58 is one of the best engine BMW makes.

Thanks for the response ..didn't feel like I got what the car is worth but it is what it is ..took great car of that car! Ended up getting 15k ..car had 61k miles ..maintenance was on point made sure of that ..just hope new owner takes as much car is the car as I did ..that car was extremely reliable

Good for the new owner that he/she got a well-maintained, trouble-free car at a good price. Maybe we will see them on the forum celebrating their new purchase and the great deal they got

Thanks for the response ..I certainly hope so ..initially had buyers remorse but that's changed through the days ..although 540 is a boat compared to the 335 it's so much more spacious and there is no comparison regarding interior quality/space..unfortunate because if bmw would step it up and offer more amenities & better build quality with the 3 & 4 series then the difference wouldn't be so extreme..understand sports & sports/luxury differentiation but cmon BMW you could do much better..

Unfortunate because as mentioned 335 is a beast but not practical if you have a family and need the additional space ..

Great story, where N55 journey ends and B58 journey begins. 5 series are great cars with a different purpose. Just enjoy every mlle!
