Msport front bumper missing parts?
While looking for a bolt i dropped in the engine bay on my '15 328i msport I purchased, I noticed that the bottom of the bumper was not properly attached, upon further inspection it looks like its sagging in the center and there are no screws at all holding it on other then the outside edges under the wheel well. I'm trying to figure out whats missing to properly attach it. I've looked on realoem but it doesnt really show clearly if I'm missing any secondary structural parts underneath that these screws would go on on the center, when I push up on the bottom in the center area it doesnt hit anything, just air, should it be hitting something?
Previous owner apparently did not care about scrapping the car . Thanks in advance! |

100% there are missing parts, anyone know how i can figure out what plastic bits+fastners i'm missing for that whole area?
I figured out I need at least part# 51118068130 and 51118056106 (9 and 6 in the diagram), anyone know what else i could be missing? Want to get it back in good shape and complete. TIA Last edited by RMachuca3d; 01-13-2019 at 02:28 PM.. |

9, 18 and 20 are what is indicated on that diagram.
Quantity per car is shown adjacent to the part in the lower part of the page you did not post. They literally fall out if you rub a driveway drop off, pot hole or speed bump. 14, 15 and 16 are also in play from below Last edited by IK6SPEED; 01-14-2019 at 10:41 PM.. |

Try calling your local BMW dealer parts department. Shipping usually kills the price advantage that online stores have for very cheap, small products.

I also don't see why you need #6 and 9. Thats not what your missing. You might need a few #20 in which the 8mm screws ( 07147129161 )go into. You might need about 10 screws or so. Count how many holes you have on the lower bumper and how many holes there are on plash shield and get that many screws. It looks like your splash shield already have the metal clips on there #20 so only get them for the holes in the bumper. |

I actually went through similar findings. I ordered the #34 because that had broken off due to uh... road debris... (DEFINITELY not me driving too far into parking spots and scraping on those parking stoppers)
Paid around 30 for it. Seems easy enough to put it back on.

So the 07147129161 screws are not the right ones, the threads are to dense to fit into the c-clamps, I think the one i needed to order was 07147129160 OR 07149126886. Its the same type as the ones that hold the undertray on, tried checking on realoem but even there its confusing lol.
