Once the car has been washed a few times and the clearcoat becomes worn then its all downhill from there. Anything else has been stored in a garage out of the sun. No exceptions
Please don’t compare Vauxhall paint with BMW. Vauxhall’s always faded

Different colours suite different cars. I am not that keen on red on a BMW and even less so on a Mercedes.

I have had a couple of red cars and thought it suited the my Honda Civic well.

Saw this on the forum news page. I like it - pity there aren't more interesting reds to choose from.

My first F30 was Melbourne Red and I loved it. Only reason I changed when getting the next car was simply because I wanted a change to make it feel more like a new car

Pictures honestly don't do justice to MR because they make it look like a flat pillar box red rather than the more subtle metallic red that it is - look at it closely in sunlight and it's fantastic. It's a shame that BMW's standard colours for the 3 were so boring but that seems to be in keeping with British drivers taste, look out over any large car park and it's dull as dishwater, 95% black, navy, silver, white or grey... and as for grey - why buy a car that's the same colour as the road?!

But, each to their own
