I get about 11km/litre on Esso 93. So about 25mpg. Mix of comfort and sport mode.

50/50 highway/back roads.
Average 24.6MPG

I'm of the opinion that burning fossil fuels is harmful to our environment so I aim to use up as much as I can, as fast as I can.

How the hell do you achieve the manufacturers/ government fuel consumption figures ???
I drive a 330 f31 , I have just done a trip of around 400 mikes of mixed driving ,is motorway , a roads and country lanes , using a mix of comfort mode and eco pro , with short duration sport mode .
I cannot improve on 37 mpg average , am I expecting a bit much ??? .
Do I have to drive like a geriatric to achive better ??

Hahaha !!!

Averaging around 70 mpg, with a high of 90 mpg and a low of about 45 mpg on a trip.

Tank only holds 10 gallons, so it's about 700 to 900 miles per tank. Only hit the gas station every two or three months, so I hope to update my Fuely numbers in a few weeks.

I'm going for 100 mpg this tank, and "every single mile is in a BMW F30."

My wife’s 2016 340XI is averaging 31 mpg. 75% interstate averaging 75ish mph and 25% city. 0w 20 Catrol edge oil. She uses mostly comfort and some sport and never puts it in eco. Also we ditched the heavy run flats and are now running much lighter Michelin pilot As3+. She has a lead foot too so I’m surprised it’s this good.

Ok ....seeing all this high MPG people are getting driving on comfort mode and better yet eco pro. As I am getting only 18 mpg driving in sport mode I decided to try driving on comfort and eco mode. I just gonna say this once.......I only lasted 10 miles then switch back to sport mode......my soul just got suck by a black hole. I will never try it again

We ONLY drive in comfort/eco mode on longer highway trips. And yes, I speak for the entire population. 😬

Don't recall that but I just checked now and see it's an automatic car wash. No thanks lol. I've been hand washing my cars for the past seven years.

Majority city driving, I work only a couple miles away from home. Most of the highway driving I do is to school so that depends on the semester's schedule. Then whether or not I'm driving during traffic hours.

Just went for 2 months without filling up due to going on vacation and only going to work.

My overall average is about 28mpg over the 19k miles I've had the car. I'd say 80% of my miles are highway. I usually cruise in comfort mode at around 78mph. I'm almost always in sport when not on the highway though.
No mods other than the MPPSK which was installed about 5k miles ago.

Here is a photo from one of my road trips last year. I drive this route often (its where most of my mileage comes from) and I always average 32mpg or above.

That's interesting, I thought the most fuel efficient mode on highway driving would be Eco Pro but you're doing just as well on Comfort even with a higher cruising speed. I'll try that next time.

The only way I can see driving in sport all the time as being a viable option is if you had a manual transmission since all that is doing is firming up steering and more sensitive throttle. The problem with sport is the shift points are too high, it holds revs too long and just isn't smooth in normal driving. I'm talking normal driving, cruising in the city, etc., I'm not talking plunging down a windy road or hammering an onramp. Trying to casually drive around town in sport all the time just isn't smooth. All you're doing is burning more gas for basically no reason. I am talking solely transmission behavior. You can configure sport steering feel and still be in comfort mode..

I never use Eco Pro just because it doesnt work at the speeds I cruise at. I think anything over 75-76mph is useless in Eco Pro. It always says "Reduce Speed"
