TPMS..

So tonight I had a puncture, I called the local mechanic he came out. He replaced the wheel and he drove off. I was very happy. I got into my car and reset my tyre pressure monitoring system and then asked me to do it again and then again again…….. and So on and so on…. it would seem like it was resetting it fine and it would get all the way to 100% and everything will be ticketyboo. I can see the status of all four Tyres and I can see the temperatures, but every time I turn the engine on it wants me to reset them am I missing something here do I need to shout at it or is there a better way of doing this help anyone???

When I fitted my winters with all season tyres (freshly refurbed 397s and new tyres/new TPMS etc); it took 3 attempts to get the system up to date etc...

Found out that it's best to reset them and drive at a slower speed for longer; it does it more smoothly then rather than 30MPH and then onto a bypass as an example...
