I am not aware of a limit entering a key but if it is not working "by date" you will need someone with E-NET cable and E-SYS to store your FSC file to be able to generate a working key.

Hey dear friends,
Could anyone be kind enough and point out the way where I can find the South America 2019 NEXT maps for my X3. I don't want to be an imposition but if anyone could also get me the FSC code for my bimmer (0g18094). I'm in Brazil and it is kind of hard to get by the Enet cable here. Thank you guys so much |

Hi,
Could somebody help me in generating a valid FSC code for map update? Road map EUROPE NEXT 2019-1. VIN: VZ72215. Problem is that even if I get the FSC from my car and decoded it with Base64, the generator gives me invalid codes. I tried also the date method with several codes, but still not working. What did I wrong? |

Here is how to get the "open file":
You pull "1b" file from your vehicle via a usb stick. ZIP LINK: https://www.e90post.com/forums/attac...5&d=1518522964 1. Unpack the ZIP file (1b.zip) to the root of an empty USB stick 2. Power on your car (ignition on is fine, you don't need to start your car) and wait until the navigation system has started completely 3. Put the USB stick in the USB port in the glove box or console, depending on vehicle. 4. Wait for around 30 seconds 5. Remove the USB stick from the port in the glove box and put it in your (windows) computer 6. Check if the file 1b.hex is present on the USB sticK, THIS IS the "OPEN FILE", save this to your computer and point the code generator to it. Credit to memeber portalseo@e90post...and of course to Jagaer for the code generator! Last edited by BackBlue; 02-28-2019 at 10:32 PM.. |

I've tried to generate a code using the date function and it isn't working. Is my only option to use a cable and decode it as I don't have access to one.
Something that I also read is that the codes won't include 0 or O and 1 or I but my codes have? |

I didn't have any luck with the "by date" function either.
You do need a cable to extract the car "open file" just the 1b program loaded onto a USB stick. My working code had the O letter in it, but no 1 or 0. I could see why they wouldn't use a zero just like in VIN#'s but not sure why a one wouldn't be used |
