Good deal that, mine was very similar (has options on however) BUT was a Pre-Reg pre LCI so yes, really top TRL deal as ever.

He's the man

Top bloke TRL.

Thoroughly decent guy too, not your usual sales sort.

If you want to see him spec'ing up a car, he just done Joe Achilles new M140i on Youtube.

He's just posted another two.

All four have been boring colours though, I'd have been tempted by a Long Beach Blue but not Black or White.

Still.... should get the X3 quote back today, can't wait to dust myself off once I've fallen off my chair.

What's the bet that it'll be more expensive alive than an X5 M50d just because it's a launch car and the first petrol?

Have you priced up an X5 M50d?!

Deals to be done though

They do look good deals but given the ones available on the M4 I think it was only a matter of time before something had to give with the M2.

Yes I know the M2 is a different character of car - and some would choose one over an M4 even if the two were the same price - but I think a lot of buyers would struggle to justify paying over £50k (i.e. list price) for an M2 with a few options when a discounted M4 can be had for almost the same money.

Personally I very much like the M2 but IMO these deals from TRL and the like are really just starting to introduce some long overdue realism into their pricing...

Well BMW sales are down in the UK, the number of
Pre-reg dealers have to do now to meet targets has shot up. I'd expect deals on everything over the next few months.

Seriously, go on Auto Trader, search for BMW's under 100 miles on the clock and you'll see what I mean. I follow the car market and can tell you BMW sales in the UK are struggling this year.

In fact just done it there, over 2000 pre reg BMWs listed for sale! That’s double the number of Audi’s and Mercs.

Very nice video and car but wonder what happens, if between now and delivery, BMW puts the list price up, taking the car above the £40k (£40,499) VED threshold.
Whilst BMW might honor the Order Price, my understanding is that the relevant date for the VED threshold is the day before first registration!
