Video for HU_CIC
Hi Guys,
I've gone through the searches but end up being more confused. Can someone please advise what is the best way to upload/play video from a USB stick in the glovebox. I have an Australian 2012/13 F30 335i with a HU CIC. The USB in the centre console is for power only - no communication to head unit. I am reluctant to purchase the HU NBT due to the price and having to open the interior. If not possible, what is the next best solution to be able to play videos? FYI - I have an OBD2-LAN cable with E-Sys software and checked all the possible coding options. However, the HU_CIC is missing most of the vital components. I heard of getting an iphone app.. but don't know much about it. I have an iphone 6 and seen the following apps for it "BMW Remote" "Connected" "BMW M Power Meter" "Laptimer" Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. BTW - I'm new to this forum and to BMW's, so please forgive by n00bishness. Cheers! Neil |

BMW Apps Option is required for the BMW ConnectedDrive Apps to work - communicates via centre console USB. There was a time where one could VO code it but now you need a FSC Activation Code for HU-CIC. Luckily mine was optioned with BMW Apps.
