Thanks for the recap. A couple of quick questions.
1. Where do I find the “6 digit passcode” that’s sent to the vehicle. Does it just appear on the drive? Do I retrieve it from somewhere? 2. Does my email address still need to be in caps when I register. Seem to remember it did when this was set up originally in 2014. Quote:

so remote cockpit is not working for me is anybody else having that issue? it says remote features require an active bmw connecteddrive subscription.
I have an active subscription can someone help me with that? |

The new app works well for me in Canada now, on my e92 m3 2011 with combox. I can use apps, send lock commands, send POI to car, and locate the car immediately after getting out of it. I assume it works through Bluetooth. However, I cannot locate the vehicle otherwise. Whenever I press locate it tries then fails instantly. Any ideas Canadian33?

The 6 digit pass code is sent to the vehicle. If you go to ConnectedDrive menu and then messages you should see the message with the passcode.

Hey canadian33 , update here. I was able to load the car to the system. The system also sent my a security code to my car! How exciting!
All that said, nothing works, haha. My app says I have the following features (see screenshot), but any of those actions fail a few moments afterward. I also noticed the "Concierge" and "Messages" part of ConnectedDrive got removed from my iDrive menu. Ironically the Messages section is also where the security code came through Is it simply because I don't have an active subscription? Thanks man! |

Okay so now the website is being weird. It's showing me the following services as available to my car, but then as soon as I try to order it, it says I need to contact ConnectedDrive Support.
canadian33 is this a business logic issue? Since my car is MY2013 it's saying no, but my hardware (NBT) will actually work? |

Update: All of my traffic details are now GONE. I cannot get any of that back. Roads are grey and the traffic list says "Currently, no traffic messages".
Now the app also has my vehicle removed from my profile, and I can't add it back. It says this Vehicle cannot be added to the platform. Check recent screenshots below: So what happened do you think canadian33 ? In summary, this morning:
Now it's removed my vehicle from the App, I can't purchase any services on the Portal, Messages + Concierge removed from my ConnectedDrive menu, and BMW killed my traffic and weather details from my car I called the 1-800 number and I keep getting a "sorry sir your car isn't valid for traffic because your model year is 2013" - but it isssssss. I've had it until the moment I loaded on this portal. I have the NBT unit with a 3G TCB. Any email/contact you would think is best to reach out to canadian33 ? I talked to my guy at Parkview BMW and he said as of September or something dealers couldn't do anything on this matter since it's been routed to BMW Canada. Thanks canadian33! |
