Better Call Saul has been amazing, Dare i say even better than Breaking Bad!

The acting, filming and characters are so well done it's one of the stand out programmes of all time for me.

Agree with you here, Bob Odenkirk is an amazing actor (I quite like Rhea Seehorn too!). I really liked Breaking Bad, but Better Call Saul is on another level. I'd put it up there with The Wire and The Sopranos.

Watched a few but didn't carry on for whatever reason. Loved Breaking Bad (one of my favourite all time shows!), maybe I will try it again...

Really, you've just named my favourite of all time (The Wire) and another of my top 3 (Sopranos).

I watched breaking bad but was incredibly bored with it by the end and just saw it through for the sake of it, so haven't bothered with Better Call Saul. Perhaps time for a rethink.

Agree about the Wire and Sopranos both being excellent.

Disagree about Breaking Bad though, I thought that was also excellent.

Better call Saul? It’s got better as it’s gone along. First series was good but not in the league of breaking bad, but it’s gradually improved as it’s gone on and now by series 4 and 5 it’s right up there with breaking bad.

Going to start Ozark season 3 tomorrow night. The previous 2 seasons were great

Cheers chaps. Thoroughly enjoyed episode 1 last night. More importantly, for the purposes of watching more, so did Mrs Benzin!

iPlayer, not Netflix, I stumbled across The Detectorists - the subject (metal detecting) isn't the attraction, but the lines are well written/delivered and Larry is a very funny character.

Of course, it depends on what appeals to your sense of humour.

Thought Sons of Anarchy was great, watched all 7 series in about 3 weeks. Working from home isn't just for coronavirus for me!

Only bad point, which I got over after a couple of series in, is the English guy playing Jax's stupid American accent.

Although in real life is accent is all over the place and sounds stupid when interviewed. Started in Byker Grove, moved to London, now in America. His cockney accent was awful in Green Street as the main football hooligan as well. Made Dick Van Dyke's look good.

Ignoring his dodgy accents .. he plays one of the main characters in the latest Guy Richie film The Gentlemen, which I quite enjoyed.
Don’t remember him in Byker Grove though, but I remember Ant and Dec.

Yes Sons Of Anarchy is binge watching material ..
.. and don’t forget Peggy out of Married with children is the leading lady!
