Different front lip option

So I’ve been looking at adding a front lip / chin spoiler to my F31. Everyone seems to have the M Performance version, and it looks good for sure. BUT... I went down a rabbit hole and came out the other side with an option, I think, looks pretty decent.

It’s the “M-tech” or "3D Style" front lip on most seller sites, and at first look it was waaay too busy for my tastes. But taking a closer look, it is actually made of 4 separate parts, which means some things are optional.

What I decided to try was to only use one piece of the kit. Turns out, it matches the style of M Performance rear diffuser pretty damn closely. I added a photo that shows my MP rear diffuser compared to the style of this front lip.

I just mocked it up with auto tape, since I’m still on the fence... what do you guys think? Rice or nice?

I like it better the way you have it mocked up.

For me personally, looks too bland and just looks like something is missing. It's a good thing everyone has their own opinion though, if you like it, keep it! it's your car

I think it looks pretty cool the way you have it. And you have options to add more later if you decide to. Just curious where you bought that kit from?

Word. I was soliciting opinions so people could see they have options if they like it. I agree it is pretty understated, maybe that’s a good thing for a station wagon
personally I think it matches the look of the MP diffuser better than factory one.

Yeah man, the other parts are on the shelf for now. Nice to have options.

They’re on EBay. But the seller is IKONmotorsports. They have a website and ton of stuff for BMW. I don’t know how legit they are, and I don’t endorse them in any form or fashion. Just answering the question.

Thank you for finding this item and posting photos.
It seems to be a good alternative at a reasonable price point.
Easily found on EBay.
