328i midpipe on 320i

Hey everyone does anybody know if a 328i mid pipe will bolt directly on to a 320i's downpipe?

The 320i has a 60.2mm midpipe, while the 328i has a 75mm midpipe. So no, it will not directly bolt up. However, I know an adapter is made to connect the 320i midpipe to the 328i muffler, so there might be an adapter made to connect the 320i downpipe to the 328i midpipe, if you want to try searching around for it.

Do you know this from experience? I'm pretty sure it won't bolt up directly, they're different sized midpipes(see my post above). I guess I could be wrong though.

even if they do, which I'm not sure, you will need an adapter to connect the 328i midpipe to the rest of the 320i exhaust past the midpipe.

I'm thinking about getting a custom muffler delete, so the adapter won't be needed then right

in that case, no it will not be needed. just custom fab the new piping to match whatever you want.
